Life is a journey. Where we end up depends largely on our dedication and motivation. Chuck Adams began his journey with Hallrich in 1994 as a production co-worker in high school and is now a District Manager. He was a server at the Hartville Pizza Hut during college, but then left to pursue other opportunities. In 2003, he returned to Hallrich as manager-in-training in Alliance. His Pizza Hut management career also includes leading restaurants in Minerva, Hartville, Columbiana, Poland, and Brunswick. It was his willingness to help-out at any location and learn from those experiences that made him a candidate for district manager, a position he has held since 2005.
Chuck started his Hallrich career at the Salem Pizza Hut while he was in high school. He went on to serve at the Hartville location during college. He then left to pursue other employment opportunities but in September 2003 he was re-hired by District Manager Jeff Andrews as a Manager-In-Training at the Alliance Pizza Hut. He trained under the watchful eyes of Susie Robbins for five months, then was promoted to RGM of the Minerva restaurant where he stayed eight months. The next turn in his road was a transfer to Hartville, which he ran for seven months before going to the Columbiana location. Chuck has always been willing to transfer and help out any restaurant, which has contributed greatly to his success.
In 2005, while Chuck was working at a Pizza Hut in Poland, Ohio Hallrich’s President approached him about an upcoming District Manager position. Chuck’s DM opportunity began at Brunswick, where for three months he dedicated his time and talents to giving that restaurant a face lift. He grew sales there by 50% before turning it over to the next manager. Chuck’s dedication and hard work paid off 4 months after taking over Brunswick when he officially became a District Manager overseeing two restaurants. Within 3 months after having two, he picked up three more, and currently oversees seven locations.
Chuck motivates his managers and crew by sharing his positive attitude and energy, leading by example, and being there for them. He hopes to see his managers walk across the stage at the Managers’ Award Ceremony.
Chuck covers shifts for anyone who needs time off and works right alongside his managers making sure that everyone is having fun while doing their job. He says he owes a good deal of his success to his mentors, especially Craig Ballmer and Jeff Andrews.
Chuck enjoys spending his spare time with his wife, and three children (oh, and playing fantasy football). His advice for those just beginning their journey is to always have a positive attitude and show results, don’t just talk about getting them. Chuck’s results speak for themselves.
